Creed and Breeze

This was a melancholic ending in a client and his wife's campaign, that he wanted to put to painting.

Creed, the tiefling, was shattered through time and space and is floating endlessly in an empty void. Breeze, the Kenku, remains in the material world, forlorn at the loss of his partner.

Although dimensions apart, they believed their hearts are soul linked no matter where the other person may be.

I wanted to depict that sense of loneliness, so I desaturated the scene and kept their soul-link warm and bright, to add to the contrast of the narrative!
